Due to the fact that our Indian women are postponing childbirth until later in their life, they are more likely to face the problem of ovarian insufficiency by the time they are ready to have children. So, the ability to restore the ovarian function safely is crucially important. Though the women are born with a fixed number of eggs which decline over the period of time and with age the egg numbers decline, ovarian rejuvenation has brought a ray of hope in these women. The blood from the patients are collected for PRP preparation. The PRP thus processed is injected inside the ovaries with a needle similar to the one used for egg collection under a short anaesthesia. A significant improvement in hormone levels, egg numbers and pregnancy rates are observed in patients undergoing this treatment.
